It is our goal as a breeder to produce puppies who are sound in both body and mind, while maintaining the outstanding
temperament each of their respective breeds are so well known for. We have carefully chosen each of our Purebred
Parents to ensure they are from quality, healthy lines with consistent beauty. We have the parents of every puppy on
the premises.
We stand behind every puppy we raise and expect to be a resource to their new owner, both before and after the puppy
goes to it's new home. Whether your experience with the dogs goes back many years, or if this is your first puppy, we
are glad to help you with any questions you might have.
Thankfully, our careful breeding produces healthy, well adjusted puppies. However, we offer a one year written health
warranty on each of our puppies to ensure their new owner knows how serious we are about standing behind our
breeding.

The importance of beginning to train your puppy as soon as he comes home cannot be over
emphasized. Just a few minutes each day spent in fun interaction and training with your puppy
will reap life long benefits. Please take the time to read through our recommended reading
list. By learning how to interact with your puppy, and understanding how a dog's mind works,
potential behavior problems will be avoided. Help your puppy understand what his boundaries
are through obedience training. A well mannered puppy is one who will be loved by everyone
and welcome anywhere!

Our puppies have already started their “crate training” and are going outside to “potty" via a
doggy door in the puppy nursery. They are not totally housebroken but have a real good
beginning.

Raising a puppy is very much like raising a human baby only a puppy will mature at a faster
rate. It is up to you, the parent, to establish boundaries, train your puppy and understand their
various stages of physical and mental development and provide all their care. When you're
raising a pup there are going to be moments of frustration, times when you have to be creative
with training (not all things work with all pups). By 4-6 months your pup will be well on their
way to a well trained individual as long as you've done your part but they won't be perfect.
With your hard work, patience, continuity and love, your energetic puppy will bloom into a
dedicated and well trained adult.

It will be helpful to you and your new puppy if you enroll in a puppy obedience class. This
class will strengthen the bond between you and your puppy, teach you both about basic
obedience and be a continued socialization opportunity for your puppy. This class can be
started as soon as your puppy has completed his puppy shots (usually between 12 and 16
weeks). If you prefer, professional trainers can also do individual classes, or come to your
home for private lessons.

The American Kennel Club features a Canine Good Citizen program which is a 10-step test
that certifies dogs who have good manners at home and in the community. CGC is an
excellent program, and one we wish to promote and encourage. Click here to find CGC
