| Dear Bonnie: offspring of Sire Lil Spook and Sylvia Fanny For, born October 15 2005 and relocated to Jackson Heights Queens NY on December 23 2005. Back in December 2005, having survived a sleep deprived fortnight of wee-wee training assisted by little steps (yes I needed them and still do) I settled need to get out of this great big wonderful soft bed/playpen except to pee/poo/eat. The pee/poo functions were firmly established the first time I carelessly decided to use the corner of the bed. NOOOOOOO, said Claire, the Mummy Dog, and would not back down. You are locked out forever from paradise, until you understand where we do it. Some people can be so unbending about certain things. Still, it was warm, comfy, lots of boiled chicken and rice, tummy rubs -- the lot! Can't think of anything else except my secret game of trying to out-boss Mummy; I'm sure she hasn't a clue. Claire continues: Nellie is the most loving, giving, beautiful little dog in the world. I love walking her, as limited as I am, as she lights up the whole world around her: old grouches and screaming kids screech to a halt and start smiling. Her face is a gift from God, no doubt. She has eaten two pairs of glasses ($250), one hearing aid ($1500). innumerable panties and socks and plastic of any and every size and shape. She ate her way around the apartment furniture at low-level, and surprisingly in an effort at diversity stood on the bed pillows and munched on the picture frame over the bed. WE are royalty on our shopping block. Stores with large signs saying NO DOGS allow us access -- one saying 'I sink she vas a ket.' Good night. I do check your site every once in a while, and hope you're doing well. Nellie sends her real mom lots of earlicks at which she's expert. I hope her about to be three years old portraits get through. | Good afternoon, Bonnie! just fine Friday and that Tully is adapting well. He is having a ball! He plays with his toys, runs around the house like a goofball and is just totally lovable! He has won my husband over completely! Tully is eating regularly and doing well going to the bathroom outside, as long as we keep an eye on Tully is eating regularly and doing well going to the cats through the screen door (they are both much bathroom outside, as long as we keep an eye on larger than he is!) and they are not quite sure about him (only two accidents so far). He has seen our him. He seems not to care too much about what they think! Thank you for all your help and for raising such a sweet breed of dogs. | Hi Bonnie! I just wanted to thank you again for your help and guidance in acquiring our little Maltipoo puppy (now named "Lakota"). As you said, "she's as sweet as she is cute" and everyone in the family has fallen in love with her (especially our daughter, Sophia). She's a very playful and fiesty puppy but she also seems to enjoy just being held/cuddled. We're following all your advice on training (although I know that will take a bit of time) and family. | Good to hear from you! Our little puppy (Lakota) is doing just fine and has become an important part of our family (our daughter refers to Lakota as her “sister”). She’s a very good dog and we probably spoil her more than we should. Our daughter will be thrilled to hear that she has a couple more brothers now … we’ll have to check-out your website for pictures! We’re still in the Cincinnati area but moved houses over the summer (to get more out into the country). We live next-door to a farm now and Lakota just loves running and exploring her new surroundings. We like to think that it reminds her of your place, her first home. I’d be happy to serve as a reference for you. Just send me the contact information for the interested parties and I’ll get in touch with them over the weekend. Also, I’ll send you a couple recent pictures of Lakota when I get a chance. She’s definitely grown a bit (weights about 9 lbs. now) but for the most part has retained that “puppy” look and demeanor. | Hi! Just wanted to let you know how happy I am with my new baby (Charo). She is precious, sweet, fun and wonderful. She has adapted very well. She eats her food and drinks her water. Most of the time she goes on the newspaper (sometimes she misses). We've gone out on a couple of walks and we've gone to visit her grandma. She is the best. She is very obedient and sweet. She follows me around every where--we have to be careful not to step on her. I will send pictures soon. She's going to the vet today at 3:00pm I have to buy her some steps so she can get on and off the bed. I worry that she will jump and it is too high for her. I have a new kitten too and they get along so well. They chase each other and play nonstop. They even sleep together. The kitten is about a month older--but they are about the same size. | Hi Bonnie, I just wanted to let you know that we went to the vet this morning and everything is great. The vet said you were a great breeder, that he wished all his puppies came in like "Newman" (the girls call him Newman after Paul Newman) He received a lyme vacine today and will get a deworm dose on friday and then will start the rabies shots next week. Hi Bonnie and Tammy,
It has been a year already since we got our
Peterpan and Tinkerbell! They are the most
beautiful puppies! So incredibly intelligent! They
they say three words, "hello, outside, and yum
yum!" Yes they really do talk and do so
everyday:-) Both puppies are so gendered!
Peterpan behaves like a little gentleman Prince and
Tinkerbell is quite the Princess, although she plays
crazy like Peter sometimes:-) They are such great
friends that one would think they are from the
same litter, and infact we are asked that all the
time. They enjoy taking walks along the Charles
river and on Harvard's campus here in Cambridge
MA. They are trully a joy raise - we are amazed
by all the wonderful things they do and how
loving, sweet and playful they are! Thank you
again for our adorable kids in fur. Cherril and Glen

I cannot thank YOU, Gary, Bonnie and Jerry
enough for taking such great care of my Peter Pan
and Tinkerbell!! They are soo beautiful and soo
delightful!! We were just playing in the back
yard, running around the grass and around the
pool. They have the best personalities!! They
gave me gentle licks at first - still missing each of
YOU and wondering who I am. Then they got
comfortable and started kissing me all over and
cannot seem to stop licking and kissing on me!
Thank YOU bunches for all their treats - they will
get their Vet check up soon - however they look
as happy and as healthy as any puppy can ever

Hi Bonnie, Happy New Years to you and your
family. As promised here are several pictures of
Teddy. He is doing great and growing everyday as
you can see. We had to have his hair cut real
short after having him neutered as his long hair
become matted and the groomer could not get the
knots out. This happened a week before
Christmas and I cried when I saw him but it is
growing back. I hope you like the pictures let me
know when you get this. As far as us getting
another puppy we do want one so let me know
when teddy's mom is having puppies so we can
get on the list asap. We check the website to
check out the new puppies.

You may not remember us as I’m sure you deal
with quite a few puppies and owners, but I wanted
to write quickly to say hello. We purchased a
female maltichon – who we named Isabelle – from
you in summer 2004. (I can’t recall her father’s
name, but I believe her mother might have been
named Lydia.) Our little Isabelle is celebrating her
5th birthday today, so I thought I would drop you
a quick line and give you an update on her.
Isabelle is a great dog!
I took her to the vet
last weekend for
her heartworm test
and she currently
weighs 8.6 pounds,
which I believe is
pretty much right on
target with how big
you thought she
would be. Although
she’s a matlese/bichon mix, I think she looks like
pure-bred maltese. (When she was very young,
you commented that she looked very similar to
her maltese father.) She’s been perfectly healthy
with the exception of a few episodes of a skin
infection, which was later attributed to an allergy.
(She’s allergic to something at our family cottage
in northern Michigan – we now give her allergy
meds when we’re up there to prevent a recurrence
of the skin problem.) The vet always comments
about what a good, sturdy dog she is.
She’s pretty active for a dog her size – she’s very
playful and loves going on walks. Just in the last
year or so she’s started to calm down a bit and
settle into adulthood, but she still loves running
and chasing after her favorite toys. She’s
incredibly fast when she’s chasing her favorite
yellow ball around the house! We keep her in a
crate every weekday when we’re at work, which
she doesn’t seem to mind – she runs into her crate
on her own every morning when she hears us
getting a biscuit from her treat jar.
She’s a very loyal dog and is quite attached to me
and my husband, Mike. She usually follows us
around from room to room and is quick to hop
onto our laps when we curl up on the sofa to
watch TV or read. She’s thrilled when we get
home in the evenings – she gives us lots of hugs
and kisses and gets so excited by our presence that
she usually sprints in circles around the house to
get rid of her excess energy.
Isabelle loves looking out the window – she’s sure
to let us know if any dogs walk by. From her
crate, she can see out into our front yard and
sidewalk, and I’m sure she’s keeping tabs on the
neighborhood when she’s not napping during the
day. Our sofa is up against a window and one of
her favorite spots is perched on the back of the
sofa, gazing out the window.
She’s really a wonderful dog and, since it’s her
5th birthday, I wanted to drop you a note to let
you know how much we appreciate her. She’s a
full-fledged member of our family with an
endearing personality and we really can’t imagine
life without her. Thank you so much! Isabelle has
a brother and a sister from the same litter – I only
hope that those families are as happy with their
dogs as we are with Isabelle.

wouldn't leave Bella on the floor with Ollie, but
certainly have fun playing with Ollie and Bella is on

doing great around other dogs. I also found a great
doggie day camp, where he went on Monday for a

getting a microchip
this afternoon.
The vet called me at school, and he did well and
was just beginning to wake up. I will get him
tomorrow morning. Sleeping tonight and waking up
tomorrow is not going to be the same without that
adorable furry face staring at me and giving me
kisses! I love my sweet fur ball of a boy!!
He did!!! He ran into my arms and kissed me all
over! It was WONDERFUL!!! When I walked in
and said I was here to get Oliver, the one tech said,
no you can't take him. We love him and want him
to stay!!! My sweet, sweet boy!!! He gets
everyones hearts!! He will give you lots of loves
tomorrow, I am sure!!
Ollie is home and sleeping at the bottom of the sofa
right now! He seems to be doing well......just need
to keep him calm for the next few days as he heals.

and techs hearts!! So glad he is home!!
