| Good afternoon, Bonnie! Tully is adapting well. He is having a ball! He plays with his toys, runs around the house like a goofball and is just totally lovable! He has won my husband over completely! Tully is eating regularly and doing well going to the bathroom outside, as long as we keep an eye on Tully is eating regularly and doing well going to the cats through the screen door (they are both much bathroom outside, as long as we keep an eye on larger than he is!) and they are not quite sure about him (only two accidents so far). He has seen our him. He seems not to care too much about what they think! Thank you for all your help and for raising such a sweet breed of dogs. | Hi Bonnie! I just wanted to thank you again for your help and guidance in acquiring our little Maltipoo puppy (now named "Lakota"). As you said, "she's as sweet as she is cute" and everyone in the family has fallen in love with her (especially our daughter, Sophia). She's a very playful and fiesty puppy but she also seems to enjoy just being held/cuddled. We're following all your advice on training (although I know that will take a bit of time) and family. | Hi! Just wanted to let you know how happy I am with my new baby (Charo). She is precious, sweet, fun and wonderful. She has adapted very well. She eats her food and drinks her water. Most of the time she goes on the newspaper (sometimes she misses). We've gone out on a couple of walks and we've gone to visit her grandma. She is the best. She is very obedient and sweet. She follows me around every where--we have to be careful not to step on her. I will send pictures soon. She's going to the vet today at 3:00pm I have to buy her some steps so she can get on and off the bed. I worry that she will jump and it is too high for her. I have a new kitten too and they get along so well. They chase each other and play nonstop. They even sleep together. The kitten is about a month older--but they are about the same size. | Hi Bonnie, I just wanted to let you know that we went to the vet this morning and everything is great. The vet said you were a great breeder, that he wished all his puppies came in like "Newman" (the girls call him Newman after Paul Newman) He received a lyme vacine today and will get a deworm dose on friday and then will start the rabies shots next week. I just want to thank you so much for Nala. She is
pretty much the cutest puppy in the entire
universe and has brought both me and Tim lots of
joy. She is so loving and playful!
We have our last week of puppy training next
Thursday. The trainer, Paula, raves on and on
about what a smart dog she is. During one of our
appearance and absolutely fell head over heels for
Nala. His exact words were, "That's the kind of
dog I want!"
Basically, everyone who meets Nala loves her,
and who can blame them? I am so happy I
decided to adopt a puppy from Rolling Meadows.

Our little Isabelle is celebrating her 5th birthday
today, so I thought I would drop you a quick line
and give you an update on her.
Isabelle is a great dog!
I took her to the vet
last weekend for
her heartworm test
and she currently
weighs 8.6 pounds,
which I believe is
pretty much right on
target with how big
you thought she
would be. Although
she’s a matlese/bichon mix, I think she looks like
pure-bred maltese. (When she was very young,
you commented that she looked very similar to
her maltese father.) She’s been perfectly healthy
with the exception of a few episodes of a skin
infection, which was later attributed to an allergy.
(She’s allergic to something at our family cottage
in northern Michigan – we now give her allergy
meds when we’re up there to prevent a recurrence
of the skin problem.) The vet always comments
about what a good, sturdy dog she is.
She’s pretty active for a dog her size – she’s very
playful and loves going on walks. Just in the last
year or so she’s started to calm down a bit and
settle into adulthood, but she still loves running
and chasing after her favorite toys. She’s
incredibly fast when she’s chasing her favorite
yellow ball around the house! We keep her in a
crate every weekday when we’re at work, which
she doesn’t seem to mind – she runs into her crate
on her own every morning when she hears us
getting a biscuit from her treat jar.
and my husband, Mike. She usually follows us
around from room to room and is quick to hop
onto our laps when we curl up on the sofa to
watch TV or read. She’s thrilled when we get
home in the evenings – she gives us lots of hugs
and kisses and gets so excited by our presence that
she usually sprints in circles around the house to
get rid of her excess energy.
Isabelle loves looking out the window – she’s sure
to let us know if any dogs walk by. From her
crate, she can see out into our front yard and
sidewalk, and I’m sure she’s keeping tabs on the
neighborhood when she’s not napping during the
day. Our sofa is up against a window and one of
her favorite spots is perched on the back of the
sofa, gazing out the window.
She’s really a wonderful dog and, since it’s her
5th birthday, I wanted to drop you a note to let
you know how much we appreciate her. She’s a
full-fledged member of our family with an
endearing personality and we really can’t imagine
life without her. Thank you so much! Isabelle has
a brother and a sister from the same litter – I only
hope that those families are as happy with their
dogs as we are with Isabelle.

I wouldn't leave Bella on the floor with Ollie, but certainly have fun playing with Ollie and Bella is on my shoulder....Hope all is well with you. That puppy in your photo is adorable...Looks just like Ollie! I have had him to the dog park, and he is doggie day camp, where he went on Monday for a few hours and he did great! sight without a doubt. So, I believe my Ollie is an
angel in disguise and getting him not only has
completed my life in so many ways with the joy
he brings me, but I never would have met Jack if
Ollie did not enter my life a year ago. Ollie and

Max and Missy are. They are a real hoot! Missy
is very active as we knew she would be and Max

Kallee was Fauna f4 and their 1 year birthday and
I have to tell you, they are so adorable and such a
joy. I always get are so adorable and such a joy.
I always get compliments on what beautiful
puppies they are and I always quote your
website. I am just amazed at their beautiful coats
of hair. Alot of puppies of these breeds tend to be
thin on the hair, but these two have lots of hair
and everybody marvels at how beautiful they are.
I can't be more happy with the quality of puppies
they are. They are very lovable and playful.
They are great with my grandsons. My younger
grandson used to drag Kallee around all the time
and be saying 'my puppy' as he looked at me.
Meantime, poor Kallee is hanging by her neck as
he squeezes tight. She's never nipped at him or
nothing. She would just look at me as if saying 'I
hope you're going to take me away from him
soon'. Both of the dogs just love seeing my
grandsons and it gets a bit crazy with the kids
yelling, running and screaming and the dogs
running after them jumping and barking.
Kallee has managed to hold her own with Kasey
very well over the past year. They miss each
other terribly when the other one is gone. Kasey
will sometimes pull Kallee around by her tail,
which is hysterical to watch because I've never
seen a dog do that to another dog. But Kallee
ususally gets him back by pouncing on his head
and she'll grab a mouthfull of hair on his forehead
and then just start tugging and pulling and
growling. I will try to get pictures for you and
send them out so you can see what they look like
now.

Will be going to California to watch tennis matches
for 10 days with my mother and sister's family
starting Friday. We'll see how Lucy does away
from me (or how I'll do away from her, too).
A man that I knew from the courthouse and his
wife will be taking care of her. He's always loved
animals and just lost his dog fall of last year. Now
they bought a tortoise that's about the size of a
half-dollar. Hope Lucy doesn't eat it .
When I get back, Lucy has an appointment for
some pre-op blood tests before she gets spayed to
make sure her heart can handle the anesthesia.
(This vet is cautious, and I think that's good.)

Hi Bonnie-
Just wanted to see little Toby at almost 8 mos
now……..He is just the best little guy….so
affectionate and playful….he is almost as big as
Izzy now so probably close to 10 lbs and can hold
his own with her even though she tends to be the
boss, lol!. Everyone who sees him just wants to
squeeze him because he looks like a little teddy
bear……..

Just wanted to see little Toby at almost 8 mos
now……..He is just the best little guy….so
affectionate and playful….he is almost as big as
Izzy now so probably close to 10 lbs and can hold
his own with her even though she tends to be the
boss, lol!. Everyone who sees him just wants to
squeeze him because he looks like a little teddy
bear……..

| Dear Bonnie, Joe and I have had dogs in our family for 40 years now. We are retirement age and lost our last two precious friends. I begged Joe to let me have one last puppy and told him about Rolling Meadows Farm in Burlington, Iowa. He was not in agreement, so I kept bringing it up because I miss having a dog. As an elderly adult, I wanted a small puppy that would not shed and be easy for me to teach. Finally Joe agreed. I waited ten long weeks for my puppy and went all the way from New Mexico to pick her up. Ellie rode under my seat on Delta Airlines. She was extremely good for 13 hours of travel. We are amazed at how smart she is! She is very submissive, sweet, easy to train, and she entertains herself when we are busy. My husband adores her and she hides between his shoes when she is scared. It is the cutest thing. Thank you with all my heart for being the best breeder ever! Thank you for our sweet and beautiful Ellie. Working with you was a pleasure. Sheila |
| We’re still in the Cincinnati area but moved houses over the summer (to get more out into the country). We live next-door to a farm now and Lakota just loves running and exploring her new surroundings. We like to think that it reminds her of your place, her first home. I’d be happy to serve as a reference for you. Just send me the contact information for the interested parties and I’ll get in touch with them over the weekend. Also, I’ll send you a couple recent pictures of Lakota when I get a chance. She’s definitely grown a bit (weights about 9 lbs. now) but for the most part has retained that “puppy” look and demeanor. | Bonnie, Ellie and I will start puppy obedience classes in July together and I am looking forward to that. There are three new puppies on the street one is a Shitzu/Maltese hybrid and the other is a Schnauzer. Ellie is the youngest of the three and by far the well behaved and social. She makes me so proud! I am studying two books by the Dog Whisperer Cesar Millan. They are How to Raise the Perfect Dog and Cesar's Rules. Cesar is very good with dogs and he believes it is the parent to the dog who needs the training. I have learned a lot! One fun thing was a test we gave Ellie to see what areas she rates independent, normal or submissive in. She was independent in only one test and submissive in one test. Otherwise she was normal in all other areas. I think we might have a bit of trouble teaching her to "come" but we are working on that. She loves to run away from us in the yard and slip under the bushes and shrubs so we can't get her. That is her independent area. When I think back at the video, she was the one to break away from the back and go exploring. I have lots more to learn and it is fun! in her first 10 weeks.
