or Bichon Poodle Puppy is quite easy to train but he will enjoy time spent in obedience
classes with his family. They have a High, Obedience and High, Problem Solving
nature. Indoor and outdoor activity is moderate. The Bichon Poodle will adapt to living
in just about any environment. With their size they make excellent dogs for
apartments. Generally very healthy, the vigor instilled through this cross makes them
less prone to the ailments that afflict the parent breeds. Their Life Span is 12 - 16

| Our Hybrid Puppies ~ All of our Hybrid Puppies are F1 first generation crosses. The F1 Hybrid is the healthiest cross possible due to "Hybrid Vigor". It is our desire to raise and promote these Hybrids. We carefully select each Purebred parent for the characteristics that would result in puppies with the most desirable pet qualities. Our goal in breeding F1 Hybrid Puppies is to breed a Very Healthy Puppy with the desirable companion traits found in their purebred parents. We do not breed multi generational Dogs as we have no desire to produce a "pure bred" Poodle Cross and we don't want to see our Hybrid Puppies begin to have inbred genetic problems. We register our Hybrid Puppies with the American Canine Hybrid Club. |

The Bichon Poodle, Bich poo or Poochon puppy combines the outstanding characteristics of the Bichon Frise and the Toy or Mini Poodle Breeds. Bichon Characteristics: Gentle mannered, sensitive, playful and affectionate. Bichons are extremely intelligent and adaptive with unique personalities and make the ideal companion for all ages, especially kids and even other animals! Bichons are full of love to give and life to live! A cheerful attitude is the hallmark of the breed. They are hypo-allergenic and do not shed, so need regular grooming. The Sweet Natured Bichon with its self-assured, important manner could fit into any home where a dog with a lot of love and loyalty is desired. Toy or Mini Poodle Characteristics: Proud and dignified, with elegant carriage, the Toy or Mini Poodle dog breed is intelligent and full of liveliness and perkiness. The Toy or Mini Poodle has an athletic history in its genes, having been bred from working retriever stock, and it moves with a springy, effortless gait. The Toy or Mini Poodle is eager to please and easy to train. Their coat which is hypo-allergenic non- shedding requires brushing twice a week and clipping every two months. The Poochon puppies shown below are typical of what you will find with one of our Rolling Meadows puppies. They are the product of careful, thoughtful breeding. We are committed to breeding a healthy, sweet tempered Poochon who is also cute! Our puppies are from Bichon Frise and Toy Poodle purebreds who are AKC registered and have some Champion bloodlines in their pedigrees. ____________________________________________ What will my Bichon Poodle look like as an adult? As the Bichon Poodle puppies becomes an adult, their appearance does not change much. They retain their puppy look throughout adulthood and will retain much of their puppy color pattern. Their hair will continue to grow (since they are non-shedding) and will need to be trimmed in a puppy cut if you like the shorter haired look. The Apricot/White puppies will usually lighten some in color as they get older. A puppy with black markings may turn lighter or stay black as they get older. The Dark Carmel Color will fade lighter as the puppy matures. The darker Apricot puppies normally stay darker as they mature. Though the adult look of a Bichon Poodle can be harder to predict that the appearance of a purebred Bichon or Toy or Mini Poodle, they always end up looking cute as a button:) The average adult weight of the featured puppies will be 12-18 pounds.
